Here at Kryon, we take great pride in how easy it is for anyone to use our robotic process automation (RPA) solutions. In fact, we often say – and only partly in jest – that our solutions are so straightforward that even a child can build a fully-functioning automation wizard and be up and running in no time at all.
As luck would have it, we recently had the chance to put this theory to the test.
Like pretty much every other place in the Northern Hemisphere, it’s currently the summer vacation in Israel, where Kryon Headquarters is located. We decided to run a two-week work experience program for our employees’ children between the ages of 14 and 18. We wanted them to learn more about what their parents do at work, as well as give them the opportunity to try out our innovative technology for themselves.
One of the participants was Mor Barnoy, the daughter of our very own Ohad Barnoy, VP Customer Success. What follows is a post that she wrote for us about her experiences at Kryon:
‘This week I got to participate in an amazing program that Kryon offered to the teenage children of Kryon employees in Israel. This program helped me understand more deeply what my father does in his work and also to understand the company itself and specifically the products that Kryon sells.
As part of this internship, I was assigned to work in customer success. In this capacity, I enrolled in the Kryon Academy to learn how to use the Kryon Studio application. These first two days were very interesting, especially since we were treated just like any other new employee learning the Studio. Once we were up to speed, we were asked to approach various Kryon employees so that we could apply our new knowledge by building wizards to help them in their day-to-day work.
I was paired with Michal Gershon-Sobol, Kryon’s VP of Human Resources. In just a couple of days, I built my first real wizard (not one that the Academy shows you how build). Now, a week before a new employee starts at Kryon, this wizard sends an email to his or her manager to remind them to fill out the 30-60-90 employee assessment form. Through building this wizard, I was exposed to many different parts of the company. I learned about the HR department and the different roles the HR team fulfill. In addition, I learned how IT departments work and how and when to get their help when needed. After all, IT is not E.T., so their activities shouldn’t be alien to anyone!
After building wizards for different areas of the company, we got to play around a little with Kryon Process Discovery™, which was very interesting and also a lot of fun. Through this, I got to interact with many different departments and work closely with other employees.
Dor and Ayelet, who looked after me during the fortnight, made sure that the experience was enriching, challenging and very enjoyable. I also got to spend time with kids my age who I wouldn’t otherwise have met. The Kryon team were there for every question and helped us to get accurate and knowledgeable answers whenever needed.
Thank you for such a great experience!’
